Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) is a great character in the world of "The Walking Dead," but he is the only one who has not yet hooked up with someone in the show. Even in Season 4, fans saw a Daryl-heavy episode, but even that didn't point towards any previous relationships with someone special. Showrunner Scott Gimple teased that Daryl may romance in "The Walking Dead" Season 5. Also, Morgan will return.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5: Daryl Dixon to Find Love this Time

The absence of a romantic partner for Daryl Dixon led to numerous link-ups. In the past, fans expressed their desires that they would love to see Daryl hook up with Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). Recently, in "The Walking Dead" Season 4, fans witnessed the superb chemistry between Daryl and Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) and rumours had it that they might be an item.

Norman Reedus has shared in the past that he doesn't want his character to fall in love, but it is going to change in Season 5.

In an interview on "Larry King Now," "The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott Gimple talked about Daryl Dixon ever finding love in the show.

"I'm going to say Daryl has already found familial love. If you're talking romantic love, I'm going to say I think so."

Scott is hopeful that Daryl will have an arm candy in the upcoming season of "The Walking Dead."

"The Walking Dead" Season 5: Morgan's Return

Morgan (Lennie James) was last seen in "The Walking Dead" Season 3 when Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) found him in a town.

Scott, in his interview on "Larry King Now," shared about Morgan's comeback.

"I am so determined to make that happen by hook and by crook that I can say definitively 'yes'," said Scott.

"But there's time and tide that can get in the way," added the showrunner.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 airs this October on AMC.
