After following Falcao to AS Monaco, Real Madrid attacking playmaker James Rodriguez wants his compatriot to join him this time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The two have apparently formed a special bond as they were teammates at Porto for two years, while also playing alongside each other for Colombia.
"I'm sure Falcao can play here," the 23-year-old World Cup Golden Boot winner was quoted while having an interview on a Colombian radio station.
"I've been playing alongside him for four years."
Interests in the former Atletico Madrid star have died down this summer after he suffered an knee injury that kept him on the sidelines for around eight months.
Nevertheless, James believes that Falcao's frame of mind will make him thrive in the Spanish capital, should a move be completed.
"It might happen because he has the quality and attitude," he added.
"He has a winning mentality and that's what you want at Madrid. Hopefully he can come."
