Practice your ninja moves now because the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" are just about ready to take position and do something behind your back!

With the new TV spot clip released, courtesy of the recently concluded 2014 MTV Movie Awards, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (TMNT) starring Megan Fox (April O'Neil), got hold of a firm spot in the limelight.

It was only two weeks ago since the first official movie trailer of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" where the movie talked about "heroes not being born, but created" was released, but now making its way out is the new TV spot showing a glimpse of Master Splinter, a mutant rat who trains the four mutant turtles Leonardo (Pete Ploszek), Raphael (Alan Richson), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher) and Donatello (Jeremy Howard) in the art of Ninjitsu.

The upcoming movie has become even more enigmatically good even though not so much was revealed in the 30-second video clip. But a sure indication that Master Splinter is very much alive and ready to take action and fight evil is quite remarkable.

But while everybody is still reeling about the first appearance of Master Splinter in the new TV spot, here is a few interesting trivia about TMNT that you might not want to miss [Source]:

1. If anyone has ever noticed that April O'Neil (Megan Fox) has always worn her yellow jacket, it is because April pays reverence to her appearance in TNMT in 1987, where she worn a yellow jumpsuit.

2. "Foursquare" was used as an undercover name while filming the TMNT movie.

3. Spoiler Alert! The Shredder in the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie is reportedly based on his TNTM (2003) incarnation, where the character is actually "an alien inside a human android suit."

Synopsis [IMDb]:

"From their home in the storm sewers of Manhattan, four Ninjitsu-trained turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello and their sensei, Master Splinter, battle evil."

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" hits theatres on Aug. 8 in the U.S. while the Australia release date is yet to be decided. Aside from Megan Fox, Will Arnett (Vernon Fenwick) and William Fichtner (The Shredder) are also starring in the movie.
