The "Spring Breakers" film directed by Harmony Korine may have a release date by the year 2013, but that isn't stopping the cast from releasing stills from the film.
In Interview magazine, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachelle Korine and James Franco flaunt their bikini bodies in a few photos. It is enough for fans to get by for the long wait ahead.
Former Disney Stars, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens, have shed their good girl images in the film. From drinking, to smoking to partying wild in their skimpy bikinis, "Spring Breakers" proves to be the ultimate "kid to teenager" transition film.
So apart from the obvious bikini shots at the beach, what else does the movie have in store? Well, nothing much apart from the girls getting into trouble with a drug dealer, getting drunk in the streets of Florida and getting arrested. 19-year old, Selena Gomez, shared her experience on set particulary on the parts where she had to smoke.
"I mean, I'd never smoked a cigarette before in my entire life. It was really funny-they had to show me how to do it," quipped Selena.
"It was a mark thing for me-like, 'This is what I want to be doing.' I want to be taking myself seriously as an actress, and this was definitely a stretch." added the actress.
Though it's a film that's a sure bet for teenagers, Ashley Benson from "Pretty Little Liars" isn't encouraging her young fans to hit the cinema to see it.
"For Selena, Vanessa, and me, our audience is all in their teens or younger, so they're not even going to be able to see this when it comes out-it's not appropriate," shared Ashley.
With Selena, Ashley and Vanessa clad only in their neon bikinis and flip flops, it may be enough to attract teenagers once the film hits the big screen next year. Other film projects Selena Gomez fans may have to watch out for is her thriller film, "After Shock" and the animated film, "Hotel Transylvania". Ashley Benson, on the other hand, still has her television stint "Pretty Little Liars" to work on.
If the movie stills of "Spring Breakers" are enough to make even Justin Bieber salivate, then it'll be an even bigger reaction once the official movie trailer comes out.
