Sony Xperia Z is drawing a lot of attention, thanks to specs rumours and image leaks just hours away from Sony announcement at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2013. Even the price of the new Sony flagship smartphone has been supposedly revealed.
Reports indicate the Xperia Z (formerly known as C660X Yuga) will be around US$620 (AU$590) upon release to retail market.
Sony Xperia Z Release Date, Specs (Rumours)
Sony mobile users are expected to get their Xperia Z towards the end of the first quarter (March 2013).
One of the most anticipated features of Xperia Z is the 13-megapixel Exmor RS camera, which will reportedly allow HDR shots in photo or video mode.
So far, rumours have been consistent among Android bloggers on the Xperia Z display screen: 1080p full HD with a pixel density of 440ppi. This stunning screen display will be backed by quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB RAM.
Android Community also reported the Xperia Z "is expected to arrive as both a dust- and water-resistant device with the IP (Ingress Protection) ratings of IP55 and IP57."
It thrills the CES attendees to imagine how Sony will show off the latest Xperia's water resistant feature.
