Samsung Galaxy S5 Firmware Now Available for Download

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to hit the shelves in over 150 countries all over the world on April 11. The release date includes all four major U.S. carriers in addition to US Cellular. Typically, when a device nears its market arrival, it takes only a matter of time before the first firmware build reaches the Internet - for the Samsung Galaxy S5, its official firmware build is already available for download.

As per Web site Sam Mobile, the Chinese SM-G9009D firmware is now available for download. The build date is listed as March 12 and once it arrives, the build for other countries will surface in relatively short order. Afterwards, people will be begin to crack the firmware open to extract wallpapers, images, sounds and Samsung's newest updated apps.  

For those who are interested, Sam Mobile has already made the newest version of the S Voice available. And if you are the type who likes digging deep into firmware builds, this one is undoubtedly for you.
