Samsung Galaxy S5: Amazon Offers Low Priced Deal on Android Smartphone, Price Set at $99 with Verizon Contract

By on

The Samsung Galaxy S5, which was announced in February 2014, is currently offered at Amazon with the low price deal set at only $99. Consumers who want to get their hands on the Android smartphone at Amazon must agree with the two-year Verizon contract as the network carrier.

According to the Android Geeks report, Amazon has in stock both of the black and white versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5. The Amazon deal is considered to be a very good one since the pricing scheme for the Samsung Galaxy S5 is $100 lower compared to the rival HTC One M8.

However, the WCCF Tech report noted that Amazon's deal is most likely to be limited since there are no details available as to how long the offer will be available. Consumers are now suggested to place their orders fast in order to take advantage of the low priced deal for the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 powerful features and specs include the 5.1-inch Super AMOLED HD capacitive touch screen display with 1920x1080p resolution, a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, 2GB of RAM, Adreno 330 GPU and 16GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded with the available microSD card slot up to 128GB.

Additional features and specs found in the Android smartphone are the 16MP primary camera with Dual Shot, simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization and HDR, a 2MP secondary camera with dual video call capability, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB v3.0, NFC and the 2800mAh Li-Ion battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is also the first from the South Korean technology giant to sport a fingerprint sensor and receive IP67 certification for dust and water resistant features. The Samsung device can be water resistant up to 1 meter and half an hour.

The latest Samsung Galaxy S5 offers the users with improved battery usage, kids mode, private mode, and increased focus on fitness support. Aside from the black and white colour options, consumers can choose from the blue and gold versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
