Tablet competition appears to escalate as smartphone wars. In a recent Samsung ad, it appears the Korean giant takes a jab at Apple's iPad and Amazon's Kindle. According to the recent promotional material, Samsung may have just implied Apple's iPad as Bad and the Amazon Kindle as a Swindle. What went wrong? Is the Galaxy Tab Pro really better than the iPad and the Kindle?
According to a report by CNET, the new promotional material from the South Korean company seems to put the Galaxy Tab Pro series on a pedestal. The tech giant has mocked some of the biggest companies in the industry. As the ad goes, Samsung believes the iPad series is awful along with the iPhone product line. The Amazon Kindle is just in the same league as Apple's.
The report also noted that it is as if someone from the company just realized that the best way to get ahead of competition is to call everything else awful. The ad features several scenes where users of Amazon Kindle, Microsoft Surface and Apple iPad were left with jiggling. This is compared to the sophisticated experience brought by Samsung tablets.
The report also indicated that it looked like Samsung wanted to say that the iPad can do a task but not multiple functions. The Retina display is also not as great as the non-Retina offering of the company. All that Kindle offers is books and more books.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 series was announced last January. Specs include:
