The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoy a simple and quiet movie night at a small London movie house to watch a screening of the latest James Bond movie, Skyfall.
Because they are one of the world's most photographed couple, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge like to keep their activities low profile and normal as much as possible. This includes a trip to a movie house where they went to see Skyfall, the latest James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig.
The couple was reported to have spent their quality time at Wales' Cineworld movieplex in Llandudno, and wore simple clothing unlike the outfits they wear in high profile events. The Duke came in jeans and a sweater while the Duchess wore her famous blow-dried hair.
"They came in by themselves. They didn't have protection with them, or if they did, he or she was very hidden."
In contrast to Prince Charles and Camilla's glitzy attendance to the red carpet London premiere of Skyfall, the Duke and Duchess chose to see the movie in a simple manner that most couples do.
The source added that Prince William and Kate ordered two soft drinks and a salted popcorn to share as their snacks for the movie, and arrived without the aid of royal protection.
It could be said that this was a smart move, considering that members of their royal protection squad haven't been really reliable for the past couple of days. Yesterday, it was reported that a member of the team accidentally fired his gun while patrolling around the Angesley residence of the Duke and Duchess.
