In Season 5, Episode 2, the Liars return to Rosewood and Alison is with them. The episode shows the impact on the town after she makes a comeback. ABC Family has released the official promo for "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5, Episode 3 titled "Surfing the Aftershocks."

Clearly, after all the drama featured in Episode 2, the Liars and others will feel the 'aftershocks' in "PLL" Season 5, Episode 3.

Synopsis for "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5, Episode 3

"Now being forced to live through Ali's latest lie, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer try to cover their tracks, while simultaneously trying to piece together what happened in New York. Hanna and Aria have to close loose ends with the two people who know the truth about Ali's story - Mona and Ezra. Spencer and Emily try to find out the truth about Jason and his whereabouts the night they were in New York. Meanwhile, Hanna starts to examine who she really is - Hefty Hanna or Queen Bee Hanna - now that Ali is back."

According to the synopsis, Aria and Hanna will have to deal with Mona and Ezra who know the truth about Ali. Meanwhile, Spencer will don her detective hat and along with Emily, she will try to investigate Jason's motive and his whereabouts the night they were in NYC.

Promo for "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5, Episode 3

The promo shows the Liars are trying their best to face the aftershocks of Ali's lie. Mrs. D's body is discovered and Ali is back in school. Also, it looks like that there is a suspect for Mrs. D's death. It looks like Spencer is surprised to find out who killed Mrs. D. 

Who is the killer? It will be interesting if the next episode can shed some light and fans get to know the truth.
