Software magnate Microsoft gets more colourful with the set July release of its entry-level flagship phone Nokia Lumia 635 4G enabled in Australia.

According to Gizmodo, the windows phone will cost 279$ on outright purchase. It will be available to Telstra and Optus on yet-to-be announced plans. Here are five fresh features to anticipate as Nokia Lumia 635 will arrive in Australia:

Colourful Shells

According to the Nokia Web site, Nokia Lumia 635 sports bright and glossy shells that can be replaced and swapped. Smart phone users just have to pick from the different colours available based on their mood and style. The phone's colours even comes more alive with the personalized experience of the changeable Live Tiles colours on the phone's home screen.   

Latest Windows OS

The Nokia Web site also mentioned that Nokia Lumia 635 comes with the latest Windows 8.1 operating system. With this operating system, smart phone users can keep in touch with family and friends, play music and games, take photos, search for places, make calls, work on the go, get apps, while protecting senstive info, all from their Windows phone.

Decent Built

The same source cited mentioned above that Nokia Lumia 635 has 4.5-inch ClearBlack, IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It also has Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with an accompanying 5-megapixel camera. The Windows phone's 1830mAh battery is capable of up to 14 hours of talk time.  There is also 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in memory which can be expanded to up to 128 GB via the microSD slot. The Windows phone also comes with 7 GB of cloud storage from Microsoft OneDrive.

Personal Radio Station

Microsoft also boosts that Nokia Lumia 635 has pre-installed Nokia MixRadio. With this feature, Windows phone users can stream unlimited commercial-free music at no extra charge. Users can just pick from the hundreds of regularly-updated mixes or customize their radio listening experience. They can even listen to the songs even when they are offline.

Plenty of Apps

Nokia Web site also stated that Nokia Lumia 930 has a plethora of apps such for personal information management like Kid's Corner, OneNote, Family Room, Social networks in Phonebook, and Wallet. There are also business apps included in the Windows phone like Lync (Corporate IM) free download, and Company Hub for enterprise applications. It also comes with document format support for PDF, Word, Excel, OneNote, and PowerPoint. There are also sync type apps included such as Exchange ActiveSync and Nokia Photo Transfer for Mac. It even sports a papyrus app which allows users to take down notes in their natural handwriting just like a paper. There are also built-in game apps like Touch UI, XBox-Live Hub, DirectX 11, and Adidas miCoach. Social apps like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp are also available and much more apps that Windows phone users can use and enjoy.
