Nokia has officially expanded their line-up of available devices with the unveiling of their first tablet, the Nokia Lumia 2520, next to the other new Windows Phone devices at the October 22 Nokia World event held in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the Verge has spotted the new Nokia device having the Verizon branding which confirms the previous reports about the Nokia Lumia 2520 heading to the U.S. carrier.

According to The Verge's update report, Nokia also has the Verizon branding at the Nokia Lumia 2520 stie with the U.S. carrier confirming about the tablet's availability on their network in Q4. "We took a closer look at the device to see if there were any differences to the non-branded version, but it appears the Verizon logo and a Zeiss branding are the only additions. While the tablet will be available in the coming weeks on AT&T, there's still no pricing available. Unsubsidized, the Lumia 2520 will debut for $499," The Verge report reads.

The Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet features a 10.1-inch screen display with 1080p resolution, runs on the Windows 8.1 RT, 4G long-term evolution (LTE) connectivity, Wi-Fi and a 6.7MP camera that has the low-light technology and manual controls that can be found in the Nokia Lumia 1020.

Other Nokia Lumia 2520 features include the fast charge that can deliver up to 80% charge in an hour and the Nokia Power Keyboard accessory that can add up five hours of battery life alongside two USB ports. The Nokia Power Keyboard has a price of US$150 and the accessory can be a wrap-around case when the tablet is not in use.

The CNET Australia report claims the Nokia HERE Maps offers a deep offline mapping while the Nokia Music has free streaming. "Special editions of the wider Nokia family of apps for photos, videos and more give a deeper sense of quality than Windows RT has ever seen before," the report reads.

The Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet will be available soon in the US, UK and Finland while the other countries will "follow shortly." The Nokia Australia representatives will also be giving updates soon on the new Nokia tablet's local availability and pricing scheme.
