It is worth noting that, the $249 price range pertains to the 32 GB model and the 64 GB model would cost more. Moreover, Motorola has not confirmed the existence of the 16 GB variant thus far.

However, there is a good chance that the 16 GB model will be out with budget-friendly price ambit later this year, opines Phone Arena. In addition, the U.S. network carrier AT&T will get the exclusive Moto Maker rights prior to other mobile carriers for the second time.

Apart from AT&T, carrier Verizon will release the device in black and white hues on Sept. 17. The recent report also says that, AT&T's Moto X+1 version will hit the store shelves only on Sept. 28. Once the pre-order deal starts, users will be allowed to customise their own Moto X+1 with options like the much-loved wood, vivid colours, denim and leather rear panels, says TKTechNews. However, there is no official word from both the companies to corroborate this report.

This deal will let potential buyers to purchase a customised Moto X+1 from AT&T for just $199 with 2-years contract. This is a $50 price reduction from the original price. Nevertheless, after Sept. 6, the Moto X+1 can be purchased with customisation from Moto Maker for the original price of $249. And this deal is exclusive to AT&T for several weeks or close to a month. Hence, potential buyers are encouraged to look out for the aforementioned date if interested in buying this device.

It is worth noting that, Motorola's manufacturing unit pertaining to Texas is closing down, hence the orders placed via Moto Maker pertaining to the U.S. customers will be shipped from Mexico. This means, the time between the order and shipment will be more than the usual time frame. The same publication opines that it could even take close to 14 days to reach the buyers.
