Missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 Ads Baffle Social Media: Boeing 777 Adverts are Fake or Real?

Ads about missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370/ Boeing 777 have surfaced on the internet and are making the rounds on social media.

Mystery behind Missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 continue to deepens and baffles one and all. The aircraft disappeared with 239 people on board while travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The search for the missing jetliner has widened as now some 25 countries are searching for the missing MH370 in the Indian Ocean.

Meanwhile, an anonymous user has posted an ad about missing Malaysia Airlines aircraft on popular classified Web site Craigslist. According to Policy Mic the anonymous user is trying to sell the Boeing 777-300 at $15,000,000 USD.

The classified ad which is said to be fake, reads: "Not much fuel in the plane at the moment, but it's in great flying condition. ABSOLUTELY NO JOY RIDES!"


The user describes the aircraft as "slightly used." The best offer from the user to its buyers includes "all the snacks in the plane."

The ad also takes note of the co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid, who allegedly invited female passengers into the cockpit where they smoked and took pictures, according to reports. 

"Ask for Fariq when calling and setting up appointments to see the plane," the advert reads.

In addition, more ads about the missing Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 have been making the rounds. Recently, an image surfaced on the internet promoting Boeing 777. As noted by Web Pro News, the first ad read: "Lose Yourself On A Journey Of Epic Proportions".

Second image featuring a couple, reads:  "Wherever you go, no one will ever know."

However, these two ads are said to be nothing but fake adverts. The jetliner showed in the posts that were being circulated on Twitter is reportedly not a Boeing 777. In fact, it is a Boeing A380. These two ads which are anything but a "genuine image from the Malaysia Airlines Web site," is just a "tasteless hoax," as noted by the Web site.

According to latest update, the focus of the investigation has now shifted towards the pilots of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. It was reported that Boeing 777 was flown towards the Andaman Islands deliberately and this has now given rise to possibilities of plane been hijacked.
