Internet is brimming with topless pictures of Amanda Seyfried, who has gone completely nude in her new movie "Lovelace." The actress, who stars in the movie as former porn star Linda Lovelace, posed topless for several promotional photos for the film.
Seyfried looks quite easy in front of the camera posing for the topless pictures but she admitted she was quite worried the move could ruin her career. In an interview with The Sunday Times Magazine, the "Mama Mia" actress confessed, "This is the riskiest thing that's happening in Hollywood right now. It's funny, because I felt liberated when I was doing it. I'm sure people that are very protective of me wouldn't feel very comfortable with that, but it's like, what's the big deal?"
"Growing up I was made to feel nudity was wrong because everything was always censored in movies, and it was just like, 'why are we covering ourselves up?,'" Seyfried said.
In an earlier interview with the GQ magazine, the actress confessed watching porn when she was "five or six. Six, I think" and described the whole experience as "terrifying" and "so so wrong."
"Yeah. It was a cop--a guy dressed in a cop costume ... and it was the first time I'd ever seen a penis, and I remember it being very graphic ... it was so terrifying. It was funny. But it was also, like, so, so, so wrong," the actress admits.
However the actress said that the whole experience left her scared at that tender age that she is going to get infected by AIDS after watching the movie.
"It was 1990 or 1991, and so AIDS was really rampant. Watching any kind of sexual acts when you're a six-year-old would make you think you were going to contract AIDS somehow," the actress said.
"Lovelace" is an autobiographical film based on the life of famous porn star Linda Lovelace, "who is used and abused by the porn industry at the behest of her coercive husband, before taking control of her life,"according to IMDB.
This year another actress who will feel "liberated" after appearing topless is Lindsay Lohan in "The Canyons." Her nude pictures are already making more headlines than her rehab return.
"Lovelace" is now playing in theaters and is available on Video on Demand and iTunes.
