Kim Kardashian and Jenner sisters were reportedly busy texting when the rest of the audience was paying a silent tribute to Michael Brown at the MTV VMA. Brown is the black teenager who was shot dead by a cop in Ferguson, Missouri.
Accoriding to reports, Kim and her half sisters were seen texting when Rapper Common came on the stage and requested the audience to pay tribute to Brown whose death has trigged racially charged clashes in Ferguson.
"Hip hop has always presented a voice for the revolution," the rapper told the crowd during the award show, as quoted by Daily Mail. "I want us all to take a moment of silence for Mike Brown and for peace in this country and in the world."
Reportedly, Kim and the Jenner sisters were spotted busy chatting amongst themselves and texting while everyone else bowed down their heads to pay tribute to Brown. The camera caught the reality stars busy doing their stuff and not showing any interest in what was happening around them or on the stage.
This action of Kim, Kendall and Kylie has enraged the fans and Twitter world is abuzz with extreme reactions.

Some reports suggest that that they were not texting during the Ferguson tribute, as the show was not getting broadcast in real time.
However, MTV's rep has said that there was no delay in airing of the air, according to Daily Star.
Kim's rep has denied the allegations of texting, according to the Daily Mail report.
Kim Kardashian and Kendall sisters have yet to comment on this latest issue. Kim is said to be currently busy with the production of her new show "Young Bosses."
