Television personality Khloe Kardashian arrives at the 2014 Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party in West Hollywood, California March 2, 2014.
Khloe Kardashian's house has allegedly been robbed while valuables worth over $200,000 are reported to be missing. The Tarzana house used to belong to Khloe and her husband Lamar Odom.
According to Los Angeles police, there was hardly any sign of a forced entry, which caused curious assumptions that there might by an insider involved in the theft. Los Angeles Times reported that there had been numerous people who recently had free access to the house. The theft was discovered only on Monday, March 3.
For better or worse, the crime at the house brought Khloe and Lamar together once again, even though only as victims - TMZ reported. Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013 after there had been wide speculations for months that the two had been living separately.
Khloe also appealed for the legal restoration of her last name which she is most famous for: Kardashian. Their house was later sold to Kaley Cuoco who is most famous for Big Bang Theory. The burglary was discovered when the house was getting cleaned. The reported theft involved jewelleries along with other items.
Khloe entered the California house along with her mother Kris Jenner on Monday night as the house needed to be cleaned to accommodate the new owner. She discovered that an excessive amount of jewellery was missing from the house where she spent 4 years of her life with Odom. The burglary also included gold chains and watches.
Odom was arrested in August 2013 when he was spotted driving his white Mercedes at around 50 mph. California Highway Patrol officers found him driving in a "serpentine" way on the 101 Freeway. According to CHP officers, he did not stop even after authorities tried pulling him over several times at freeway exits.
The potential suspects in the burglary case happen to be tradesmen working at the house for past several months. No signs of forced entry indicated it to be an insider's job.
