Another death report bothered Jim Carrey on Tuesday, January 14, making the actor's reps confirm he is still alive and doing well.

The Facebook page "R.I.P. Jim Carrey" gave fake details about the "Bruce Almighty" star and even asked the fans to like and place their comments to show their sympathy and condolences. The Facebook message in the Examiner report reads: "At about 11 am ET on Sunday (January 12, 2014), our beloved actor Jim Carrey passed away. Jim Carrey was born on January 17, 1962 in Newmarket. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting and liking this page."

The latest fake death report that surfaced online claims Jim Carrey died on Tuesday, January 14, due to a snowboarding accident. Some fans were victimized with the cruel Internet prank as they posted their messages of condolences on Facebook and Twitter.

The fake death reports continue to circulate and reps of the actor released a statement confirming Mr Carrey is still alive in a bid to put a stop to the mean joke. "He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet," the reps stated in the Inquisitr report.

The WebProNews report suggests the latest Jim Carrey death hoax report may have started from actor Shia LaBeouf's comment on Twitter where he responded to Mr Carrey's comment about him at the 2014 Golden Globes on Sunday evening.

At the awards show, Jim Carrey poked fun at Shia LaBeouf who recently got involved in a plagiarism scandal. "Dying is easy. Comedy is hard. I believe it was Shia LaBeouf who said that. So young, so wise," Jim Carrey stated before presenting the winner the award for "Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical."

The "Transformers" star then expressed his frustration and responded to Jim Carrey's comment on his Twitter account @thecampaignbook. Shia LaBeouf wrote: "If you explain @JimCarrey you've killed him, Nobody knows if it's for real or not. That way he's immortal." According to the Softpedia report, Mr LaBeouf continued to attack Jim Carrey on his parenting skills and acting career igniting the theory that the Twitter post has started the death hoax reports on the comedian.
