China Labor Watch: Foxconn Hires More Workers

iPhone 5S release date should be very soon as two more proofs emerged online.

Two more evidences on the imminent iPhone 5S release date surfaced on the Internet. First, China Labor Watch reported that Chinese factory Pegatron is working on an iPhone model with plastic casing. It is reported that Apple hired Pegatron for iPhone production.

Specifically, investigators sent to the Pegatron facility noted that "This iPhone model with a plastic cover will soon be released on the market by Apple."

The investigators also claimed that "the new cell phone has not yet been put into mass production." Thus, the iPhone has not entered full production capacity yet. This could mean that Pegatron is focusing its efforts on the production of another Apple device like the full-fledged iPhone 5S.

Investigators were sent to the company to observe the working conditions of employees. Many reports from China claimed unfair and abusive labour practices happened in some factories.

Another proof on the nearing iPhone 5S release date is that Foxconn is hiring as many as 90,000 people to the Shenzhen factory. It is still not confirmed whether Foxconn or Pegatron is in-charged of the iPhone production.

Rumour has it that Apple's full-fledged iPhone 5S will be powered by A7 quad core processor, which claimed to be faster than the previous processor. The processor will be paired with iOS 7 operating system, which is packed with new and better features.

Apple may have planned to bump the storage capacity of its smartphones. iPhone 5S release date is said to be coming with 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB internal storage. The company may also add a new security feature to its devices with the inclusion of fingerprint sensor in the home button.

The low cost iPhone handset, on the other hand, is reported to come with 4-inch screen display, dual core processor, 8 MP rear shooter and a plastic casing.

Amidst all the rumours, Apple still has the final say on the iPhone 5S release date.
