Twitter user Planetbeing, a jailbreak developer and member of evad3rs, tweeted updates on iOS 6.1.2 testings soon after the update was made available OTA (over the air). The update was the second from the Apple OS in a week's time.

iOS 6.1.1 software update addresses "an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability for iPhone 4S." The update was met by complaints from users who observed their battery was draining faster since installing the update.

The iOS 6.1.2 update is meant to fix the Exchange calendar bug that drains the iOS device's battery life faster than normal.

"We will release evasi0n 1.4 later today that marks iOS 6.1.2 as supported," Planetbeing tweeted Tuesday. He later tweeted, "Evasi0n 1.4 with support for iOS 6.1.2 has been released on #evasi0n." The developer also told his followers, "Not yet able to test all devices, but it's looking good for 6.1.2. iPad mini wi-fi and iPhone 5 are still jailbreakable."

Evad3rs spent only a few hours in developing Evasi0n version 1.4. Those who immediately updated to iOS 6.1.2 and found their OS device no longer jailbroken now has a solution with the Evasi0n jailbreak software.

OS device users jailbreak their devices for greater control of their system. Users who are not keen on tweaking their OS avoid jailbreaking and the possible consequences to their typical Apple user experience.
