Ian Somerhalder: 'Vampire Diaries' Actor Reunites with Ex-Girlfriend and 'Lost' Co-Star Maggie Grace at 2014 PaleyFest

"Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder attended the 2014 PaleyFest at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, March 16, for the "Lost" 10th Anniversary Reunion. At the event, the 35-year-old heartthrob actor reunited with his "Lost" co-star and ex-girlfriend Maggie Grace and the meeting between the former couple showed all is well when Ian gave Maggie a huge hug and a kiss on the cheek on the red carpet.

Ian and Maggie briefly dated back in 2006 and the two still looked friendly with each other at the "Lost" reunion as they constantly hold each other and laugh together in front of the cameras. According to the Mail Online report, the 30-year-old "Taken" actress looked stunning in her fetching blue blouse, matching shorts, and green open-toed stilettos while Ian Somerhalder looked dapper in his jacket, crisp white shirt, buckled boots and burgundy trousers.

Maggie dated Ian in 2006 after filming the TV drama series finished with the couple adopting a feral cat that they named Roo. Ian and Maggie's romantic relationship was only short-lived when they decided to amicably split.

Ian Somerhalder shared to his followers on his Twitter account @iansomerhalder about his attendance at the 2014 PaleyFest and encouraged them as well to participate in the live stream. "Lost" fans can recall that Ian Somerhalder portrayed Boon Carlyle, the step-brother of Maggie Grace's character Shannon Rutherford in the ABC TV series that told the story of different people linked together when their plane crashed on a deserted and mysterious island.

Other "Lost" cast members joined Ian and Maggie at the PaleyFest. The familiar faces at the event included Jorge Garcia, who portrayed Hugo "Hurley" Reyes, Josh Holloway who portrayed con man James "Sawyer" Ford, Henry Ian Cusick, Korean actress Yunjim Kim, Malcom David Kelley who portrayed Walt and Damon Lindelof, the executive producer of the TV series. In the meantime, fans can watch Ian Somerhalder as Ripper vampire Damon Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 that airs Thursday nights at 8 pm ET on the CW Network. The TVD star will also make an appearance at the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards as a presenter on Saturday, March 29, at 8 pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
