National Football League's (NFL) Baltimore Ravens held try-outs for their cheerleading squad ahead of the upcoming season which starts in five months' time. Hundreds of sexy hot girls took part in the audition in an attempt to get a shot at representing the Ravens in all its games before a big crowd.
According to the Daily Mail, the cheerleading audition was held in Baltimore gym on March 22. Being the only co-ed cheerleading squad in the NFL, more than 200 sexy, hot, and talented girls and boys lined up and showcased their best cheerleading stunts, dance moves, and hurrahs to spice up their routine, the Web site further reported. The hopeful and aspiring cheerleaders were asked to present their respective numbers in front of a 10-member panel of judges.
"Talent, beauty, fitness," Ravens' cheerleading coach Tina Galdieri said. "We're looking for a well-rounded participant and we usually get that," she added.
The audition wasn't only exclusive to rookies because even the veteran cheerleaders were asked to audition to prove that they are still worthy of a spot in the squad. There is neither a weight nor age limit to become a Ravens' cheerleader, but mostly young girls and boys participated in the tryouts.
The girls who tried out came from different backgrounds and professions, ranging from an elementary school teacher, a high school science teacher and a dance instructor among many others.
"I've been working all year for this, it's my ultimate dream," said 24-year-old Ali Tripple.
"There are girls here in fantastic shape who are ready to take your spot," said aspiring cheerleader Stephanie who refused to divulge her full name for security purposes. "It makes you really work harder," she added.
Those aspirants who will make the cut will get to live their dream of not only representing the Ravens but also performing in front of thousands of NFL crowd. Once picked, it is part of the job to attend every Ravens game, practice cheerleading sessions, training camps, and other community appearances. The girls also get to star in swimsuit calendar shot at Jamaica. Baltimore Sun has the photos of the Ravens' cheerleading tryout here.
