HTC J Butterfly vs. HTC One X+: Which Should You Choose?

HTC released two powerful smartphones - HTC J Butterfly and HTC One X+.

Early this month, the company unveiled HTC J Butterfly, which is currently available only in Japan and is rumored to be making its way to Verizon Wireless in the US. However, we should expect to see it anytime. It may not have the same name but it is definitely coming.

HTC released the upgraded version of its smartphone HTC One X that will hit the tech market later this year. The new HTC One X+ updated and added some of the features of its predecessor.

HTC boasts the amazing features of the new HTC One X+ including the faster 1.7GHz Tegra 3 CPU, larger 2,100mAh battery, expanded 64GB of storage and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ onboard.

It is expected that the new HTC smartphone will intensify the existing competition in the market and will battle head on with some of the mobile phones with a strong hold in the market. Below is the comparison of the two smartphones.

Screen Display - The HTC J Butterfly has a 5 inch Super LCD3 with 440ppi full HD display. HTC One X+ offers a 4.7 inch S-LCD2 display.

Processor - HTC J Butterfly comes with Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz quad core processor with 2GB of RAM. The HTC One X+ has a chip upgrade from its predecessor and is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core chip with 1GB of RAM.

Storage - HTC J Butterfly has 16GB of internal storage plus a microSD slot for expandable storage. HTC One X+ has a 32GB and a 64GB version.

Operating System - The HTC J Butterfly comes with Android's latest Jelly Bean OS. Nokia Lumia 920 comes with Windows Phone 8.

4G/LTE - Both are capable to connect to the fastest connection or 4G connection.

Camera - Both devices are equipped with 8MP rear camera.

Battery - HTC J Butterfly will be powered 2020 mAh against HTC One X+'s 2100 mAh battery.

The HTC One X+ will hit Europe and Northern Asia this October, and in South Asia by November. HTC J Butterfly is currently available in Japan and there is no concrete date on when it will be available in other parts of the world. There is no official statement yet from HTC.
