"Game of Thrones" Season 5 has a lot in store for Arya Stark, Bran Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow. George R.R. Martin's series, "A Song of Ice and Fire," is moving forward the stories of these characters in legendary ways. HBO showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, as well as the entire GOT crew, have a lot of work to do.

Spoiler alert: This feature contains major spoilers on Game of Thrones Season 4 finale and earlier episodes. ASoIaF stories are also featured. Read at your own risk.

Arya Stark (Maisie Williams). At the end of Game of Thrones Season 4 finale, Arya finds herself finally free from The Hound. In uttering "Valar Morghulis," Arya embarks on an adventure that would later - in the books - take her to the society of the Faceless Men.

Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright). Bran's story in Game of Thrones Season 5 will be based on the fifth book in ASoIaF, "A Dance with Dragons." The HBO series is understandably fast tracking his story because Isaac, the actor playing Bran, is swiftly growing into a young man quite older than his character. Bran's emerging skills or powers offer many exciting possibilities for the Starks, the North, and Winterfell.

Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). Many developments in the Game of Thrones Season 4 finale were drawn from the ASoIaF's third book, "A Storm of Swords."  But a crucial scene in the recently aired finale, Dany locking up her dragons, happens in "A Dance with Dragons," as well. This is an interesting time for HBO, because there is no release date yet for the sixth book in Martin's series, "Winds of Winter." Dany takes her dragon Drogon for a ride in 'Dance.' GOT viewers can hardly wait to see it on TV.

Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage). After giving an Emmy-winning moment in the GOT 4 finale, Dinklage has more powerful scenes to tackle in Game of Thrones Season 5. His cause will be more subtle, but it still allows for brilliant acting to shine through the TV screen. Much anticipated among GRMM's readers is Tyrion's imminent encounter with Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) and Daenerys.

Jon Snow (Kit Harington). Jon deals with Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) and the Red Woman Melisandre (Carice van Houten) in Game of Thrones Season 5. In 'Dance,' the decisions Snow makes sparks rage against him and puts his life in grave danger.

Game of Thrones Season 5 premiere date is expected to fall in late March or early April 2015.
