We stayed flat yesterday without a clear support or resistance line to trade, and that appears to have been the right decision as price settled just about where we left off yesterday, after a brief rally and fall.

Our server problems yesterday will delay the *official* launch of the new PRO dashboard, but all users now have access to the new dashboard: just click the link that says "Visit beta dashboard!" at the top of the PRO Dashboard (in a green box). We will also be releasing a video featuring t...

Important Announcement! The new, "beta" features we've been talking about for the past month will come out of beta this weekend and replace the old SwingPRO signals. We will also push out updates to the Settings tab of PRO Dashboard: with the new signals reading the daily analysis is optional as you can elect to ONLY receive trade alerts! We booked just over 20 pips on our AU short last Friday - nothing to write home about but a welcome addition to our May pip count as frothy markets have been taking their toll on swing traders. Sound money management, false break alerts and being a bit more picky in our setups has kept us in the profit for the month.

Lots of volatility yesterday as most of our forecasts were right on the money, unfortunately without clear S/R lines to trade (and the ones we did have didn't break) we were left on the sidelines for the day.

A profitable end to the week for us as Thursday's trades netted us 117 pips. I apologize for the lack of a Friday signal - without getting into too many details our Chief Strategist (me!) - came down with food poisoning which prevented me from sending the daily signals.

Lots of volatility yesterday whipped us out of three positions (AU, GU and UJ) and almost knocked us out of our EU short. That short was triggered on the 1.2907 support break yesterday , which got about 60 pips into the profit before consolidating above 1.2840. That trade is still open and currently sitting at 1.2858 at the time of this signal, where we will close and book a profit of 49 pips.

Markets have really started to move the past week and we couldn't be more excited - ranging markets are the nemesis of us swing/trend/breakout traders.

BETA Update! Thanks to everyone for the tremendous feedback you've given us over the past week! We are extending beta testing into this week as we are still fine-tuning the false break alert detection to match exactly with the current SwingPRO signals. So, to be clear, we will continue to follow the SwingPRO signals/alerts - not the beta alerts - just to be on the safe side.

Plenty of moves for us trend and breakout traders to work with yesterday. We rode our AU short for a full 80 pips, but the news of the day is the USDJPY pair which climbed well above 100 for the first time in years on data that showed the Bank of Japan's easy money policies were having a positive effect on exports.

Stay the course indeed. After taking some punches to start the month our steady commitment to our system is paying off as we pieced together a solid day yesterday with the help of our GU short. We will continue to take smart, high-probability setups to stay profitable in this volatile markets.

Looking back on the market of the past few weeks and the market is riddled with false breaks and large whip-saws - not exactly ideal conditions for swing trading - but when the markets will smooth out is not something we are able to predict. Therefore we will do exactly what we have always done over the past years: stick with our proven system.
