FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Update: New Content in Honour of FIFA World Cup Tournament Coming from EA Sports

By @binibiningkd on

Last April, EA Sports unveiled the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. After every four years, the most anticipated soccer tournament in the world comes to a well-prepared city and the top players in the world put on one game.

Also, every four years, EA Sports issues an additional game for the World Cup that shows real life arenas and all of the teams and players who made it to the World Cup. With the use of the widely acquired Ultimate Team mode, EA Sports is putting the 2014 World Cup to its lead ship soccer game FIFA 14.

FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup, which is another mode form FIFA 14's Ultimate Team, will give users the power to put together the potential group from all 32 World Cup teams. For each set of cards that gamers open, they will get official crests and kits from each of the 32 teams, along with the players from all the countries and the main arena that will be hosting the finals of the 2014 World Cup.

FIFA 14 Ultimate Team World Cup is available as a free update to EA SPORTS FIFA 14 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on May 29, 2014. Players will be able to get the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup update via automatic download.

Players can be added to teams by buying packs with FIFA Points or coins in the FUT World Cup Store. Players will also be rewarded coins and packs as they advance through the World Cup. Trading players in FUT World Cup mode is prohibited in order to keep the tournament experience genuine. Items from FIFA 14 Ultimate Team World Cup are exclusive, untradeable, and can only be available in World Cup packs. However, players can get one free Gold pack in FUT 14 for every pack paid for in FUT World Cup.

In FUT World Cup, players will direct a single team and lead them to World Cup fame but it is allowed to hold more players than the 23 existing in your team.
