"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Kim Kardashian's step-father, Bruce Jenner is reportedly interested in joining the next season of "Dancing With the Stars," which is scheduled to premiere in spring March 2014. According to reports, the Olympian-turned-reality star is "dying to do it" and that the show is close to signing an agreement with him.
Jenner's famous step-children, Kim and Rob Kardashian both competed on Dancing With the Stars in Season 7 and Season 13, respectively. Kim placed 11th overall while her younger brother Rob placed 3rd. Rob is reportedly supportive with Jenner's decision to join DWTS Season 18, saying "He'd have fun with it."
In October 2013, Jenner separated from his wife, Kris Jenner after 22 long years of marriage. The two have remained close despite their separation. It is still unclear whether the cause of their separation is Bruce's decision to change his gender. Will Bruce finally show her soft, feminine side in the show?
According to reports, the 64-year-old star has long expressed his interest to join the show in 2011 when his son, Rob was part of the show. "They have never approached me but I'd do it. I could do a good job and it would be right up my alley," Bruce Jenner said. He has been spotted in the "Dancing With the Stars" audience cheering on both Rob and Kim through Season 7 and 13.
There are other rumours about which celebrities are joining on the next Dancing With the Stars season, including an "all-Oscar winners" cast but nothing is confirmed yet. Australian pop star Cody Simpson has also revealed having received an offer to join DWTS Season 18. He asked his fans on Twitter if they wanted to see him on the long-running dancing show.
British model and hostess, Kelly Brook is also supposedly in talks with "Dancing With the Stars" producers to join season 18. Brook has already previously joined "Strictly Come Dancing," a British version of Dancing With the Stars and would be the first to do shows if it pushes through.
"Dancing With the Stars" Season 18 will premiere on Monday, Mach 17 at 8:00 P.M. on ABC.
