Cristiano Ronaldo has appeared in a bizarre advertisement on Japanese TV. Is the popular Real Madrid striker a great ambassador to get people to buy products?
Following his country's early exit in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Ronaldo flew to Japan to attend to a few engagements. One of which was to promote health and wellness products. He has appeared in a number of Japanese TV shows promoting a tool that promote "facial fitness." Now, a new commercial featuring Ronaldo has been making rounds not only on Japanese TV but also online.
The video was uploaded on YouTube which has more than 950,000 views as of this writing.

The facial fitness product is put between the teeth and the person using it will have to bounce up and down so that the device will do its wonders. Interestingly, Ronaldo is the only person in the video who didn't attempt to put the facial fitness device in his mouth.

Meanwhile, some of the biggest names in the Hollywood and sports entertainment have lent their acting skills and appeared in a number of advertisement on Japanese TV. Filmmaker IQ, an online lifestyle magazine and free film school have compiled on its YouTube channel Japanese commercials with celebrities from Hollywood which include Brad Pitt, Ben Stiller, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nicolas Cage, and Tommy Lee Jones among many others.
In 2013, Tokyo Pop TV has ranked that top five Japanese commercials which featured American celebrities.
