Courtney Love has announced her solo Australian tour. The former Hole singer will be taking her “You Know My Name” in Down Under in August.

The 49-year-old grunge singer has just recently released her single “You Know My Name,” from her upcoming album “Died Blonde,” to largely positive reviews. It was released as a double A-side single with “Wedding Day.”

But before she releases her studio album, Love will be flying to Australia to headline her solo eight-date tour. She will kick off her “You Know My Name” tour on August 13 in Perth, and conclude it on the 24th in Sydney.

The last time Love was in Australia was in 1999 when she headlined the Big Day Out with Hole.

Speaking of Hole, Love said there’s a possibility that she would be reuniting with her bandmates – Eric Erlandson, Melissa Auf der Maur, Micko Larkin and Patty Schemel – but she’s not promising anything.

“I’m not going to commit to it happening, because we want an element of surprise,” she told Pitchfork in May.

“There’s a lot of i’s to be dotted and t’s to be crossed. It’s next year’s concern, but we’ve hung out, we’ve sat down, we’ve met, we’ve jammed. There’s some things people need. We’re older – we’re all mainlining vegan food, you know what I mean?

“No one’s on drugs. Melissa drinks red wine, like me, and Patty’s sober. I’d like to make sure that [my current guitarist] Micko [Larkin] staysalong for that ride, because we’re going to need an extra person if we do it anyway. He’s been my guitarist for seven years, we have a good connection.”
