On May 13, Lamar Odom tried to enter a nightclub named Penthouse in West Hollywood, but he was turned away. Apparently, Lamar wanted to party but wasn't aware that his former wife, Khloe Kardashian and her new lover, French Montana were partying in the nightclub. According to TMZ, Lamar being denied by the doorman was not a reality TV setup. He was asked to leave because Penthouse feared that he would start a fight like Chris Brown and Drake with French.
While all the drama was unfolding at the Penthouse gate, an E! camera crew was present to capture it all. TMZ noted that the whole rejection of Lamar Odom episode was a setup for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." However, a Penthouse rep told TMZ that it was not the case.
The rep explained that idea behind keeping Lamar Odom out was the nightclub's decision and no other party played any part in it. TMZ was told that Penthouse was afraid that he would start a brawl like Chris Brown. Drake and Chris Brown were involved a bottle-throwing brawl and the club, clearly, wanted to avoid such a situation. This was the prime reason behind "Say No to Lamar Odom."
Chris Brown and Drake were a part of an ugly bar fight at W.i.P. nightclub in NYC and the fight resulted in numerous lawsuits. Also, the club had to surrender its alcohol license.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian, French Montana, Khloe and Jonathan Cheban were partying inside the nightclub.
According to sources close to the Kardashians told TMZ that Khloe didn't know Lamar was visiting the nightclub.
Khloe Kardashian and French Montana also partied at an Atlanta nightclub, reported by HollywoodLife.com.
"They were all laughing and smiling and taking pictures after dinner," revealed a sourced to HollywoodLife.com, adding, "They all seemed to really have fun and Kris seemed to genuinely like French."
