Chelsea are reported to consider offering Atletico Madrid three of their key players in exchange for the latter's striker Diego Costa and playmaker Koke.
The hierarchy from the La Liga outfit has reiterated in the past that their aforementioned prized-assets are going nowhere this summer, which leaves the Blues but to resort to desperate yet reasonable measures.
Caught Offside suggests that on-loan goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will be the west Londoners' main attraction to the deal, with Atleti legend Fernando Torres and promising attacker Lucas Piazon as accessories. The 20-year-old Piazon will be offered on a temporary basis coupled with £15million.
Costa has produced a total of 32 goals and 5 assists in Spain's top-flight and the Champions League this season, while Koke has been the creative force in the middle of the park for the Los Rojiblancos with 18 assists.
The pair is expected to be part of Jose Mourinho's plans to dominate both the domenstic and continental scenes in the years to come.
