Unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr reiterated on Sunday that he definitely won't fight eight-division title holder Manny Pacquiao because the Filipino boxer is still connected with Top Rank Promotions.

Money May has an aversion for anything that has to do with Top Rank boss Bob Arum whom he had previously sued.

With the declaration, Mayweather's choice of his next opponent would be limited to British boxer Amir Khan or American pugilist Miguel Cotto, although he has not officially announced his choice.

Mayweather's next bout is slated on Sept 13. However, Khan is definitely out of the picture because the Muslim boxer will be observing the Islam month-long Ramadan.

Khan said, quoted by Skysports, "The fight between me and Floyd Mayweather is going to happen one day. As long as I keep winning and putting on great performances, it is definitely going to happen. But I cannot do September because of Ramadan. The next time that it could happen is in May. I can fight then so it could be Floyd's next fight after September."

Besides Money May, Khan also wants to fight Pacquiao and Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez. He eyes to be Pacquiao's opponent in the Filipino champ's scheduled Nov 27 bout in Macau.

That would place Cotto as the next likely opponent. Cotto, who is seeking a rematch after his 2012 loss to Mayweather, recently won against Sergio Martinez. Money May's uncle and former trainer, Roger Mayweather, had even commented that following Cotto's win over Martinez, Cotto is now a better boxer than Pacquiao.

Boxing observers are waiting if Mayweather would keep his word about not fighting Pacquiao, particularly if Prince Amir Shafipour of the UAE would offer him and the Filipino boxer tonnes of money for the two pound-for-pound king contenders to slug it out in Dubai in 2015.
