Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny in the CBS hit show "The Big Bang Theory," is among television's highest paid actresses. The Emmy Awards may have snubbed her (while they gave a nod to co-star Mayim Bialik), but things are not looking bad for this beauty in a much-too-brainy sitcom.
Kaley Christine Cuoco earned $8 million in the past 12 months, reports Forbes magazine. She is the youngest lady in a TV sitcom who made it to the Forbes' list this year.
The 26-year-old sexy comedienne earned as much as "Desperate Housewives" (ABC) stars Teri Hatcher and Marcia Cross, as well as "Private Pactice's" (ABC) Kate Walsh.

The other female comedy actresses who made it to the list are aged 30 and above.
Zooey Deschanel of "New Girl" (Fox) earned a million dollar more than Cuoco did, while Alyson Hannigan of "How I Met Your Mother" (CBS) earned a million dollar less.
Melissa McCarthy, Emmy's 2011 Best Leading Actress in a Comedy, is also in the list with $6 million tied to her name. McCarthy plays Molly in another CBS comedy, "Mike & Molly."
At the top of the 2011 list is Sofia Vergara, who plays Gloria Pritchett in ABC's Modern Family. She earned $19 million. Tina Fey of NBC's "30 Rock" earned $11 million. [See complete list here.]
The Big Bang Theory Season 5: Will Penny say 'yes?' [Spoiler Alert]
At the Season 4 finale, Penny is still upset with Leonard's proposal in bed. Then she gets herself inadvertently "burned" after telling Bernadette and Howard during their wedding that the place does not matter for an important event in a loving couple's journey together. Will this make her reconsider Leonard's proposal?
Speaking to E! News, TBBT executive producer Bill Prady hints there will be no wedding bells for Leonard and Penny yet. They are, however, still together.
"I think that until she grows up a little bit -and I don't mean emotionally, I mean chronologically-I think they have challenges," he says.
