No date has been set yet as when his Aussie fans can see him back home. The West Australian actor who shot to fame after landing a lead role in the box-office, 3-D film, Avatar has been named judge at the annual film festival.
During his stay Down Under, Worthington is expected to speak at Tropfest Roughcut, a talk-fest organized to provide venue for emerging filmmakers. His appearance is scheduled on February 16.
The Debt actor is joining a line-up of judges who also include Rebecca Gibney, Gyton Grantley, and Magda Szubanski.

The Australian star was last seen in another highly acclaimed film, "Man on a Ledge" and other hits including "Wrath of the Titans," "Clash of the Titans," "Last Night," "Terminator Salvation," among others.
His first association with Tropfest began in the early 2000 after being recognized in some independendent films, including "Somersault" where he won Best Actor Award and other highly acclaimed films he was nominated and awarded for.
Founded by John Polson in 1993, Tropfest, or the Tropicana Short Film Festival, is promising something different this year, with its first free-to-air live telecast, according to The Age.
Organizers have been commended for their efforts which are considered as "an upgrade from the former pay television coverage on the defunct Movie Network," added The Age.
The festical showcases three days of screenings, parties and the film-maker symposium Tropfest Roughcut beginning February 15.
