Nokia XL vs Samsung Galaxy S Dous 2: With Dual SIM Support, Competitive And Affordable Handsets

The Nokia XL has 5-inch IPS LCD display and an inch larger that Samsung Galaxy Duos 2's 4-inch TFT capacitive touch screen. Both phones are with 480x800 pixels resolution. The pixel density of the Nokia XL stands at 186.6PPI while the other is at 233.2PPI. The design of the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 is reported to be the hybrid between Samsung Galaxy S2 and Samsung Galaxy S3 while the Nokia XL came from Nokia's X series phones. XL runs on Nokia X platform for its OS. It can access Android apps but it is not like the traditional android and it is void from using some of Google apps instead of those, these apps are replaced with Microsoft's services.

The Nokia XL runs on the Nokia X software platform 1.0 powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Cortex A5 processor that stands at 1.0GHz while Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean that is powered by dual core at 1.2GHz. In addition, both devices have 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage along with micro SD card support that can be expanded. Both phones have 5MP rear camera, XL comes with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera that makes XL known as the "selfie phone" while Galaxy S Duos 2 camera has autofocus and geo-tagging. Its front camera is 0.3MP VGA and it does not stand out much when it comes to quality but it gives video conferencing capabilities. The Nokia XL houses 2,000mAh Li-Ion battery unit while the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 houses on 1,500mAh Li-Ion battery unit. Both phones support GPRS, 3G, WiFi, bluetooth and GPS. These phones have dual SIM capacities.
The samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 will be launched 3 months earlier than the Nokia XL Dual SIM. The display size of Nokia XL at 5 inches is 25% larger that the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2. Both devices captures photos at the same resolution, both have similar storage capacities and both have the same RAM capacities as well. These phones are perfect for users with contracts to multiple networks since these phones have dual SIM capabilities and these phones come in affordable prices.
