"Grimm" Season 4 premieres in about a month on NBC, and viewers will soon find out what happens to Nick, Captain Renard and the rest of the gang. Meanwhile, "CSI" alum Louise Lombard is stepping in, and she has some links to the dark side. Grimm executive producer David Greenwalt reveals more new season details in an interview.

"You miss the power," David Giuntoli told TVLine's Michael Aussiello, hinting at what is going on in Detective Nick Burkhardt's head after he's lost his Grimm powers. This, he said, after quoting Uncle Ben in "Spider-Man (2002)."

"With great power comes great responsibility," Giuntoli said.

A new character, possibly with some great responsibility, will be introduced in Grimm Season 4. Lombard is playing "Elizabeth Lascelles, a mysterious woman connected to the royal families," TV Guide reported.

In the Grimm Season 3 finale ending, Captain Sean Renard does not look good. Sasha Roiz told TVLine that viewers will quickly find out his condition in the Season 4 premiere, which picks up where things left off in the third season finale.

"I think [Sean getting badly injured] made for a good finale," Sasha Roiz has told Digital Spy in an interview. He added Renard might show "tremendous changes" if or when he returns in Grimm Season 4.

In an interview with Zap2It, Grimm executive producer David Greenwalt said Nick losing his powers would take longer than Season 3's Nick-turns-into-a-zombie arc. It will be "long enough to really mine the issues around it," the showrunner said.

Suppose Captain Renard survives the assault on him in Grimm Season 3 finale, he and Nick would have to take care of the final key in Season 4, Zap2It reported.

Greenwalt then raised the possibility of Grimm Season 5.

"We're not going to not tell people and not show that and not do that. We're definitely going to do that," Greenwalt said about the anticipated Black Forest scenes. He also added that he could see Grimm running up to Season 8.

As for Trubel, Greenwalt hinted at the possibility that new actress Jacqueline Toboni could be a Grimm in a different city.

"We have no idea [what happens after Grimm Season 5], and then we might really start mixing it up. Like, maybe Nick won't be a cop anymore. He might be something else. Maybe Trubel has her own show in New York or Philadelphia."

David Giuntoli (Burkhardt), Sasha Roiz (Renard), Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette), Claire Coffee (Adalind), Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe), Bree Turner (Rosalee), Russel Hornsby (Griffin), and Reggie Lee (Wu) were all present at the San Diego Comic Con 2014.
