“True Blood” stars and real life couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are endorsing New Zealand’s Green Party.

They have brought their twin children Poppy and Charlie in Wellington for a family holiday, although it’s clear from the photo that the actress tweeted that their trip was a double purpose.

“Loving being home w my family! I’m voting @NZGreens as always b/c I #LoveNZ & @RusselNorman #Green2014,” Paquin wrote on Twitter, adding a photo of her in front of the party’s billboard.

Paquin, 32, was born in Canada, but grew up in New Zealand. Her sister Katya’s partner is Russel Norman, the co-leader of the Greens.

Her 44-year-old husband Moyer, on the other hand, is English, but is clearly a supporter of the Greens as well.

On his Instagram, he posted photos of defaced National Party billboards, captioning one of the images, “One of the great joys of driving down to Welling town every day is seeing how the National Party posters have been defaced.”

Paquin and Moyer star as Sookie Stackhouse and the vampire Bill Compton respectively in the HBO series “True Blood,” which is now on its seventh and last season.

They were married on Aug 21, 2010 in Malibu, California, and have welcomed their twins in September 2012.

Paquin isn’t the only Kiwi encouraging people to vote.

Lorde has asked the Kiwi youth to be her voice this coming general election since, at 17, she still can’t vote.

The Electoral Commission enlisted the help of the “Royals” hitmaker to combat low youth voting rate in the country. Lorde appears in two videos for the Commission, asking her fellow youth to exercise their right to vote.

“Right now I don’t have a voice, that’s why I need you to use yours in this election,” she said in one of the videos.

The 2014 New Zealand general election will be held on September 20.
