It is worth noting that, Nokia (Microsoft) owns a factory in Vietnam that helps the company with installation/assembly. The upcoming Lumia 730 is reportedly priced at 5,000,000 VND in Vietnam that roughly translates to US$236 and AU$254. Notably, the handset is a dual-sim variant, according to Phone Arena.

When it comes to specifications, the Lumia 730 will feature a 4.7-inch display with 720p screen resolution. Interestingly, Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Alpha are expected to come with the same 4.7-inch display measurement. The Lumia smartphone will be powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and Adreno 305 graphics. The phone will run on Windows Phone 8.1.

In addition, the handset will house a 6.7 MP rear-facing camera unit with the famous Carl Zeiss lens. Furthermore, there is a good 5 MP front-facing shooter for capturing selfies. Interestingly, the smartphone will feature virtual camera shutter and navigational keys and hence there will be no physical/hardware keys. As far as the memory/storage goes, the device will house 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of in-built memory.

Furthermore, earlier leak showcased a green coloured Nokia Lumia 730 handset while the latest one shows an orange coloured variant. The leaked image also showed a handset running on a yet-to-be-announced "Lumia Debian Red" version of Windows Phone OS. This OS version is rumoured to be Microsoft's internal name for Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 version of OS. Apparently, this Windows Phone version will be made available to public towards the end of this year, according to NDTV.

Recently, Microsoft started rolling out the preview version of Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 to developers. Adding cherry on top, this update comes with Microsoft's digital personal assistant Cortana's alpha version to several regions outside the U.S.

The Nokia Lumia 730 release date is pegged towards the end of August in Vietnam. With release date nearing close, other regions can expect the announcement regarding this device shortly. However, there is no word from Microsoft/Nokia on this handset's existence thus far. Interested readers can check out the leaked orange coloured Lumia 730 image from Phone Arena.
