For quite some time now, the LTE variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini already received the KitKat update. Fortunately, for those with the international 3G variant, XXUCNG1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat is now available. The XXUCNG1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat update offers a different kind of experience including performance enhancements and all new TouchWiz UI. The fimware is only available to a number of regions. People can either update through the Over-the-Air or OTA release or through Samsung KIES.

Turkey's courts have blocked access to Twitter a little over a week before elections as Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan battles a corruption scandal that has seen social media awash with alleged evidence of government wrongdoing. The ban came hours after a defiant Erdogan, on the campaign trail ahead of key March 30 local elections, vowed to "wipe out" Twitter and said he did not care what the international community had to say about it.
For those who have not received the update yet, they always have the option to update manually. According to Team Android, details of the firmware update include:
Model name: GALAXY S4 mini
