People poured from the sky following the downing of MH17 - a sight that will continue to haunt Ukrainian villagers living near the site where the downed plane crashed.
Residents of Ukrainian villagers told the horrific sight they witnessed after MH17's explosion.

Galina, one of the villagers living in Rozsypne, said that the neighbourhood was shocked as they saw bodies, clothes and wreckage fragments flying down into their town. She said that they could not comprehend what they were seeing until they started seeing travel documents saying "Amsterdam from Netherlands." She said they realised that it was a passenger jet when they found Malaysian documents.
Another villager, Victoria Leonidovna Lipskaya, shared that her first thought when she saw bodies pouring from the sky was that it was the end of the world.
"I thought that life had ended. We were ready to die because pieces were falling down, boxes were falling down, everything was falling down from the sky. It was scary. I do not wish anyone to go through this. It was just terrifying. It is hard to imagine the trauma the villagers have been through," Lipskaya told a correspondent of ABC's 7.30 program reporting from ground zero.
Galina said that the victims of MH17 suffered the nightmare that the villagers had to live with everyday - dying in the hands of the rebels even if they got nothing to do with the war.
She said that they knew the feeling of knowing that they would be killed any minute. She said that even animals howled at the sound of shelling and explosions.
Galina took the opportunity of speaking with the ABC's correspondent to appeal to the whole world.
"We are appealinto the whole world: please, protect us, we are not terrorists, we are not separatists, we are peaceful residents, and they kill us, the peaceful people, they target our fields, our bread, ... the buses when people ride, the houses. We are asking the whole world to protect us. We did not start this war, we just want the war to come to an end as quickly as possible."
On July 24, pro-Russian rebels downed two Ukrainian fighter jets just within the area from where MH17 was downed.
Igor Strelkov, a rebel leader, confirmed that they were responsible for downing one Ukrainian plane, and that the pilot had ejected.
U.S. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said that the recent downing proved that separatists are in possession of advanced surface-to-air weaponry - a fact that is "hard to imagine" without being supported by the Russian government.
