"Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davis and cast members Tyler Posey (Scott), Dylan O'Brien (Stiles), Holland Roden (Lydia), Tyler Hoechlin (Derek), Dylan Sprayberry (Liam) and Shelly Hennig (Malia) appeared at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 24. At the event, the "Teen Wolf" team teased the fans with a couple of announcements such as the mid-Season 4 trailer release, Season 5 renewal, the return of a familiar face and Dylan Sprayberry's promotion to regular cast member.

"Teen Wolf" Season 4 is currently halfway telling its story that involves "The Benefactor" and Kate Argent (Jill Wagner) but the E!Online report confirms the renewal of the MTV series for Season 5. When "Teen Wolf" returns with Season 5, there will be 20 episodes that will be divided into two parts just like what happened in "Teen Wolf" Season 3.

Furthermore, "Teen Wolf" Season 5 will have young actor Dylan Sprayberry, who portrays the latest addition in Scott's pack, promoted to a series regular. However, details on the premiere date of "Teen Wolf" Season 5 were not revealed at the Comic-Con panel. Executive producer Jeff Davis revealed that the other cast members enjoyed working with the 16-year-old actor.

"Tyler [Posey] and Dylan [O'Brien] are in love with [Sprayberry].They have some really great scenes together, so I'm really hopeful that fans like him as much as we like him. He's such a good kid and he's a great actor," Davis shared. As for the "Man of Steel" star, Dylan Sprayberry admitted that he also enjoys working with the "Teen Wolf" cast.

MTV's mid-season trailer for "Teen Wolf" has been released as well teasing about intense fight scenes, blood and betrayal that will surround Scott and his pack in the remaining episodes of Season 4. The video showed some of the characters getting hurt like Derek, Scott and Kira (Arden Cho), Peter Hale (Ian Bohen) wanting to take down Scott and Melissa McCall (Melissa Ponzio) screaming which means another tragic event happened.

Lastly, it has been teased during the Comic-Con panel that a familiar face will return in the supernatural series. "Despite his absence from the early part of Season 4, Danny (Keahu Kahuanui) is coming back," the Zap2it report confirms.
