After failing to recruit LeBron James to his team the Philadelphia 76ers; and then being reminded that model/actress Kim Kardashian is already married, the 3rd overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft is now moving on to wooing record artist/pop sensation Rihanna.

Embiid is doing the recruitment and courtship all by tweeting.

Previously, Embiid was tweeting Kim Kardashian only to discover from his Twitter followers that she was already married:

Busy with his rehabilitation because of an injury over the offseason, Embiid also made advances in recruiting LeBron James before he signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers:

The 20-year-old Embiid was born in Cameroon and became the third player from his country to play in the NBA. In college, he attended and played for the University of Kansas Jayhawks for one year and averaged 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.6 blocked shots. Before the NBA Draft, Embiid broke his foot and will be out for four to six months. Despite the injury, the Sixers picked him high as he is one of the best prospects in that draft that included Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker.

Rihanna has yet to reply to Embiid’s advances on Twitter.
