“Glee” star Lea Michele announced her pregnancy on Twitter, only that she really didn’t. The 27-year-old actress is the second star from the show whose social media page has been hacked.
“Before his gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy,” Lea purportedly tweeted on Friday.
The tweet has since been deleted after it was revealed that the TV star never wrote the message. Apparently, the post, which reached more than 4.4 million of her Twitter followers and was retweeted more than 4,000 times within minutes, was the work of a hacker.
Lea told her fans:
I was HACKED! Guess @chriscolfer and I should have known better then to make our passwords the names of our cats:) 😺

Lea, who dated co-star Cory Monteith until his death in July 2013, has a new boyfriend, Matthew Paetz, a lifestyle coach who was reported to be a former gigolo.
As Lea mentioned, Chris Colfer was also a victim of hacking.
On Thursday, fans were shocked when Chris suddenly announced that he has “been let go” from the show.
“Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of Glee. Explanations will come shortly,” the message read. It was later revealed that his account was access by a hacker.
Apparently I missed quite the INTERESTING day while aboard my flight. I'm just glad I wasn't "killed by a fruit truck" again. — Chris Colfer (@chriscolfer) July 4, 2014
“We’ve been alerted that Chris Colfer’s twitter account has been hacked. Rumours of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth. We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season,” 20th Century Fox also denied the false announcement.
“Glee” will return in 2015 for its sixth and final season.
