LG G3 Release Date Confirmed: Price, Image, Specifications, Features Listed

The long-awaited killer smartphone LG G3 release date is split based on various regions across the globe. It is worth noting that, the LG G3 is currently being sold only in South Korea. The release date pertaining to Asian Markets of Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and Philippines is set for June 27, 2014. Other Asian countries, Europe, and Middle East will also see a July release of LG G3.

In addition, the LG G3 will hit the store shelves in the UK on June 26, 2014. Quite a lot of network carriers and the mobile retailers in the UK have made the handset available via pre-order. According to Trusted Reviews, one of the networks in the UK is offering the handset for free upon opting for a £35 per month plan with unlimited data, 600 minutes of talk-time and never-ending texts.

Unfortunately, the South Korean company did not announce the launch date pertaining to the U.S. market. However, all major carriers in the U.S. have confirmed that LG G3 will be offered via their mobile network.

It is worth noting that, according to an earlier report from the credible tipster @Evleaks, the LG G3 release date for the U.S. market was set for July 17, 2014 and the pre-orders were expected to start from July 10. But at the present time, this information is still not official or confirmed.

With amazing reviews from various sources, the LG G3 is already an established handset in the South Korean market and the interest from various other regions are highly palpable. President and CEO of the LG Electronics, Jong-seok Park said, "It's quite an honor to be considered the new industry benchmark for premium smartphones but in the end, what really matters is how consumers feel about our latest flagship device because it was their feedback that helped us create G3."

Although the price detail for various markets is still not known, the LG G3 is being sold for KRW 899,800 (roughly translates to US$881 and AU$941) for the 32 GB and 3 GB RAM model in South Korea.  Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy S5 was sold lesser than the quoted price of LG G3 in Korea, says NDTV.
