A man walks out of Samsung Electronics' headquarters in Seoul January 6, 2014.
The upcoming release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is still a few months from now, but we already have a fair amount of idea about the much anticipated phablet. Now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is confirmed to sport a QHD 2560 × 1440 display resolution, which has already been rumoured a couple of times.
The device spotted on the Indian Web site has a model number SM-N910A, and considering that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is SM-N900, it is safe to say that this device is the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4. According to the listing, the Galaxy Note 4 will sport 5.7 inches display, which is consistent with earlier reports.
The resolution of the Samsung Galaxy Note has been confirmed by the South Korean tech giant itself. According to an agent profile on Samsung's Korea Web site, the next generation Galaxy Note device will flaunt a 5.7 inches display with a 2560 x 1440 pixels QHD resolution.
Moreover, reports have reiterated that Samsung might be having two variants of the Galaxy Note 4 on release date. One is said to sport a curved OLED display and the other will have the conventional flat display. At this point, it is still unclear which among the two variants will have the 5.7 inches QHD display.
Apart from the confirmed display specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, reports suggest that the phablet will feature a 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor or Exynos 5433 chipset depending on the market, 16 MP sensor camera with optical image stabilisation, Sony IMX240 sensor, and a 2 MP sensor front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 display will be notably sharper that its predecessor if the report holds true.
Thus far, although there has been no word from the South Korean tech giant about its plans on launching its next flagship device, reports say that the release date will be sometime in the fall alongside the rumoured Galaxy F, which is also known as the Samsung Galaxy Prime smartphone.
