The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, rendering 720 x 1,280 pixel resolution. The Galaxy S4 Active comes with a 5-inch TFT capacitive touch screen, rendering 1,080 x 1,920 pixel resolution.

Although the Galaxy S4 Active has a comparatively smaller screen size, the pixel density on the device is 441 ppi, which is much higher than the 267 ppi pixel density on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. This should make the viewing experience much better with the galaxy S4 Active.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo comes with 148.4 x 77.4 x 8.6 mm dimensions and weighs 162.5 g. The Galaxy S4 Active comes with 139.7 x 71.3 x 9.1 mm dimensions and weighs 153 g.

Hardware and Operating System

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is equipped with a quad-core 1.3-GHz Cortex A7 and dual-core 1.7-GHz Cortex A15 processor and Exynos 5260 chipset. It comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by up to 64 GB using a microSD card.

The Galaxy S4 Active is equipped with a 1.9-GHz quad-core Krait 300 processor and Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset. It comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by up to 64 GB using a microSD card.

Both devices run on the Android Jelly Bean operating system. They also both have 2 GB of RAM.

The Galaxy S4 Active emerges as a clear winner in terms of computing power between the two devices.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo sports an 8-MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera on the device is 2 MP. The Galaxy S4 Active also sports an 8-MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera on the device is also 2 MP.
