MTV recently released the first "Teen Wolf" Season 4 footage to give the fans a preview of what will go down in the upcoming new season. Familiar faces returned while new ones emerged as the brief teaser trailer revealed the creepy look of the "Teen Wolf" gang's new enemies in the show.

The latest promo video begins with Allison's (Crystal Reed) death and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) falling to the ground and turning to ash to remind the fans of the major events that happened in "Teen Wolf" Season 3. The message "From the ashes" and "Rise" flash across the screen teasing that the characters will get up and move forward from the horrible events that took place in Beacon Hills.

Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles, Lydia (Holland Roden), Malia (Shelley Hennig) and Kira (Arden Cho) can be seen in some intense action sequences. Kate Argent (Jill Wagner) appeared in the teaser trailer as well but the Hypable report noted that the character's supernatural look appears to be different compared to her return in the finale episode of Season 3. Fans can catch a glimpse as well on the two new villains set to bring trouble to Scott and his friends. One character sports a skull mask while the other appears to be human but does not have a mouth. Click HERE to see photos.

The promo video ends with Lydia and Stiles getting ready to fight someone or something but Lydia suggests Stiles should find a suitable weapon. "You seriously need to find something better than a baseball bat," Lydia told Stiles.

The "Teen Wolf" Season 4 premiere episode is titled "The Dark Moon" and the Zap2it spoiler report teased something interesting happening when the MTV series returns. According to the report, there will be a new 'ship in the first five minutes and the pairing is described to be an amusing one.

Furthermore, the report teased that a character will be hearing the line "It's progress" several times in the premiere episode. "Teen Wolf" Season 4 is set to air on Monday night, June 23, at 10 pm ET/PT on MTV.
