The big question on many viewers' minds is - what will happen to Tyrion Lannister? The shocking events of "Game of Thrones" Season 4 Episode 8 seem to have sealed his fate. Will Tywin have his own son executed? Spoilers ahead.

Oberyn Martell almost won Tyrion his freedom, but to overcome a strong adversary like Gregor Clegane is not easy. The brutality of his death has left many fans shocked and all eyes will now be on what will happen next to Tyrion Lannister.

Tywin Lannister never loved his son Tyrion, this is no secret to viewers who have been following "Game of Thrones" Season 4. But it was never his plan to execute his own son, his plan from the beginning was to send him off to The Wall.

Tywin Lannister's high handed approach toward his son will eventually lead to his own down fall. Fans who have read the books "A Song of Ice and Fire," may be expecting a big death in episode 9, but they may have to wait another week for that.

"Game of Thrones" Season 4 Episode 9 may be dedicating a large part on the highly anticipated battle on The Wall. Events in King's Landing may not progress that fast and shocking events in the palace may be shown in the next episode.

The titles for episode 9 and 10 give fans a hint of what to expect. The promo video of episode 9 shows the battle at The Wall and there is no hint that Tyrion's fate will be decided so soon. Perhaps the episode will give hints of Tyrion's escape.

The viewers will have more reason to wait for the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 finale. The title for that final episode is "The Children." The episode may focus on the actions Tyrion Lannister will take and a difficult decision of Daenerys Targaryen.

"Game of Thrones" Season 4 may end with Tyrion killing his father and Shae before he escapes on a ship to the city of Pentos. Daenerys Targaryen so far has seen sheep being taken away and eaten by her children - the dragons, in the finale she may be confronted with a situation where a child is burnt and eaten by Drogon. She may be forced to put her dragons in chains following this incident.
