One Direction's Zayn Malik and Louis Thompson are in hot water after a video was leaked showing the two smoking a joint that has made rounds all over the Internet.

According to the source, the two band members of the renowned One Direction were videotaped puffing cannabis in a security-laden SUV while they were having a tour in Peru, South America. The pair were said to be en route to the Estadio Nacional in Lima, Peru where they were to perform later that day.

Cameraman Tomlinson was heard in the video saying: "So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days!" Tomlinson then proceeded to ask Zayn, "What do you think about that kind of content?"

Malik responds to the camera saying: "Very controversial."

Fans and parents have lambasted the duo for their reckless use of marijuana. Parents are concerned about the young audience of the band. Some fans, however, are standing by their favorite English boy band despite the drug scandal.

Die-hard fans, however, are taking their support to a different level by sending in nude photos to One Direction band members on Twitter along with the caption #SkinFor1D.

According to a report by Perez Hilton, fans have been sending in racy pictures to their idols to show their support for the band members in question of the drug scandal.

Liam Paybe, one of the members of One Direction, took to Twitter his surprise reaction for all of the nude pics that had been sent to the boys. In one tweet, Liam Payne advises his fans to calm down by saying:

"Woah there's some pretty weird shit going on ATM everyone just calm down and don't do anything tupid cuz u can't take it back."

"I know some people are having a laugh and that's all well and good bt some people will take this shit serious so I suggest we stop," the singer added.

Lastly, to address his fans who were ready to bare some skin for the band, Liam tweeted:

"Today is such a weird day why don't we do a #wearahoodyfor1d or a #WearAsManyClothesAsYouCanAtONceFor1D."
