HTC One M8 Prime: Release Date, Five Fresh Features to Anticipate

Taiwanese manufacturer HTC Corporation is set to boost its mobile phone sales with the rumoured October release date of One M8 Prime. Although the overall built of this phablet is still  a mystery, recent leaks shed some light on the details of its features.

As the hype for this gadget builds up, here are five fresh features to wait on the new smart phone.

 Camera Upgrade

A tweet from @evleaks showed a full 3D render of the actual device that HTC made for future press kits of the device. The image resembles the look and feel of One M8 but the camera has a bump on the back suggesting that the upcoming One M8 Prime will have an upgraded camera. This phablet will reportedly come with an 18-megapixel duo camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Users who are fond of taking selfies and other snapshots will look forward to this.

Powerful Processor

The same above-mentioned source also hinted that HTC One M8 Prime will come with 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Given this specifications, this smart phone will be ultra-fast so users will be able to perform different activities on their gadget.

Better Screen

Rumours from various Web sites mentioned that HTC One M8 Prime will reportedly sport a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad high definition display. Given this screen size, it will be few notches bigger than HTC One M8 which only has 5-inch screen size.

Updated Operating System

 According to various sources, HTC One M8 Prime will come with Google Android Kitkat plus HTC's Sense 6.5 user interface. This phablet will apparently support category 6 LTE which allows up to 300 mbps download speed. Given this feature, the phablet will be comparable to iPhone 6 which is rumoured to come with iOS 7.2.

Water Resistant Casing

Rumours also mentioned that HTC One M8 Prime will come with a composite of aluminum and liquid silicon casing. This smart phone will be HTC's flagship phone with water resistant case, thus giving the product a light, elegant, and durable finish. With this feature, users will have greater peace of mind that even when their phablet will have accidental splash or two it will still run smoothly.

With the fresh features mentioned above, smart phone users are optimistic to wait for the HTC One M8 Prime upon its rumoured market release date come October.
